What TrueMatch Does

TrueMatch is a skin tone analysis app. You upload or capture a photo of your face and our AI instantly returns your personalised shade name, undertone (Cool, Warm, or Neutral), a colour swatch, and foundation matching guidance. The app is available as a web app and as an Android mobile app.

Camera & Photo Access

TrueMatch requests access to your device camera and photo library solely to allow you to provide an image for skin tone analysis. Your photo is sent to our secure server for AI processing and is used only to generate your result. We do not store your photos after analysis is complete, and we do not use your images for training, advertising, or any other purpose.

We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide the service:

No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. Your information is never used for targeted advertising.

Data Security

All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. We follow industry-standard security practices to protect any data processed by the application. Access to our infrastructure is restricted and regularly reviewed.

Third-Party Services

TrueMatch uses OpenAI's API to perform skin tone analysis. Images are submitted to OpenAI's servers for processing in accordance with OpenAI's Privacy Policy. We do not share any other personal data with third parties.

Children's Privacy

TrueMatch is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Since we do not retain your photos after analysis, there is typically no personal data to request. For any enquiries please contact us directly.
